2005–2012
Fortune 50 insurer — process & business intelligence
Seven years at one of America’s largest insurers: process consulting, leadership rotational program, and senior BI roles owning policy-servicing and customer-platform data warehouses.
2012–Present
IT Director — multi-site diocesan organization
21+ locations across 8 counties on a fiber network. Built a geospatial cemetery management platform with GPS tagging and mobile guidance, digitized 150+ years of records, integrated Azure organization-wide.
2004–Present
Founder & Principal — Babic Consulting
Fractional CIO/CTO for organizations totaling $60M+ in revenue, including contracted IT Director for a $35M aerospace manufacturer with ~350 employees across multiple locations.
2024–Present
Babic Consulting d.o.o. — Zadar, Croatia
Opened the EU operating company: local employees, EU payroll and banking, and a growing Croatian development team delivering software for US and European clients.

For clients, that means real nearshore development capacity and cross-border delivery handled in-house: contracts, billing in USD or EUR, and one owner accountable for all of it.
